Village Theater

Known as the first luxury theater in Texas, the Village Theater is located in the Highland Park Village Shopping Mall, the first self-contained shopping center in America and a National Historic Landmark since 2000. Opened in November 1935 with 1,350 seats, it was twinned in 1976, closed in August 2009 and reopened in May 2010 with three screens with stadium seating and digital projection, two private screening rooms and a bar.
