British Bowler Hat Sculpture by Keith Turman

Created by artist Keith Turman, a 20-foot-wide bowler hat was intended to be a figurative welcome mat at Timothy Oulton, a British furniture store, but space issues and city ordinances prevented it. Instead, the store nobly donated the huge sculpture to the Cedars neighborhood. Today it appropriately sits atop a 30-foot-tall hat rack as a public sculpture for the enjoyment of all passersby.
