Glockenspiel Clock Tower at Grapevine

Reaching 127 feet above Main Street at the Grapevine Convention and Visitors Bureau headquarters, the famed Glockenspiel Clock Tower features two nine-foot-tall Glockenspiel characters known as the Would-Be Train Robbers. About 75 feet above ground, the figures emerge from the tower daily at noon, 3 p.m., 6 p.m. and 9 p.m. to start “the perfect heist.” Visitors gather to watch the glockenspiel experience that, in the European tradition, is rooted in local history, reflecting the Western lore that visitors from outside Texas find interesting and entertaining.
