Interurban Railway Museum
The Interurban Railway is housed in a building in Plano, Texas, that served as a primary stop on the Texas Electric Railway, which connected Denison to Dallas from 1908 to 1948. The station remained closed until early 1990 when the building was completely restored and converted into a museum by the city. The museum’s exhibits feature artifacts associated with the Interurban Line as well as a history of Plano and is home to the Johnnie J. Myers Research Center.
