Booker T. Washington High School for the Performing and Visual Arts

A public secondary school located in the Dallas Arts District, Booker T. Washington High School for the Performing and Visual Arts is an arts-focused magnet school within the Dallas Independent School District that enrolls students in Grades 9–12. Alumni of the school include many accomplished performers and artists, including Norah Jones, Erykah Badu, Adario Strange, Valarie Rae Miller, Edie Brickell, Sandra St. Victor, Roy Hargrove and Scott Westerfeld.
