The Triple Underpass

Built in 1934, the train bridge on Dealey Plaza, also known as “The Triple Underpass,” was dedicated as a National Historic Landmark District on November 22, 1993, along with Dealey Plaza, all the surrounding buildings and parts of the North Yard to commemorate the assassination of President John F. Kennedy. It was under this overpass that the president’s motorcade passed just after the assassination.
