First Baptist Church of Dallas

The only Downtown Dallas church still on its original site, the First Baptist Church of Dallas was established in 1868. Today this Southern Baptist megachurch is considered influential among evangelical Christians in the United States. The church also owns and operates a school, a college, several radio stations and Dallas Life, a homeless mission on the southern edge of downtown that is the largest in modern church history.
