Klyde Warren Park with Hunt Consolidated Headquarters

Located on the edge of the Arts District between Downtown Dallas and Uptown, Klyde Warren Park is an urban park that stretches three city blocks between Pearl and St. Paul streets on top of the below-grade Woodall Rodgers Freeway. A central gathering space for Dallas and its visitors, Klyde Warren Park is a highly active space that offers jogging trails, a dog park, children’s playground, restaurant, performance stage, fountains, an area for games and more. Spanning the entire length of the park, Jane’s Lane is a 25-foot-wide lighted granite allée lined with red oaks, wooden benches and arches perfect for jogging or strolling. Setting a new standard in corporate facilities, the Hunt Consolidated Headquarters has become an iconic component of the Dallas architectural scene. Developed by TBG, its extraordinary plan shows the relationship between architecture and landscape, built and organic, interior and exterior. Emphasized by coordinated interior and exterior fountains and a seamless integration between outdoor and interior spaces, the design includes a choreographed elliptical fountain that wraps around the building’s front façade and seemingly permeates the downstairs lobby. In addition, an eighth-floor rooftop garden affords a superb space with stunning vistas and an array of native and adaptive drought-tolerant plants that are watered by the building’s highly efficient drip irrigation system.
